The Patek Philippe reference 5396R was first produced in 2006 as the latest of Patek’s annual calendar wristwatches, with this example purchased in Spain on the 15th February 2008. Invented by Patek Philippe in 1996, the annual calendar complication was created when they realised the discrepancy between ordinary calendar watches that had to be set every month, and perpetual calendars which were extremely complicated. Composed of 356 parts, their annual calendar is by no means a simple watch, yet it is an incredibly user-friendly timepiece that can be worn everyday.

This Patek Philippe ref. 5396R is in excellent condition and has perfect mechanical functionality. It is a complete set, accompanied by the original box, literature and leather folder. The watch comes on a original brown, alligator strap and corresponding rose-gold deployant buckle.
